Hunts FA Grassroots Football Awards Winners 2022 Announced
HUNTS FA GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL AWARD WINNERS 2022 ANNOUNCED
Today we are proud to announce the Hunts FA winners of The FA & McDonald's Grassroots Football Awards 2022.
Without the commitment of volunteers, clubs and leagues in Huntingdonshire and Peterborough we would struggle to survive, and it is the dedication and enthusiasm of such individuals that makes the game so special.
After receiving so many fantastic nominations over a six-week period, an independent and County FA judging panel selected winners across ten different categories and those in receipt of an award have been informed.
The winners of this year's awards are as follows:
Grassroots Coach of the Year for Youth - Matthew Stiles - St Ives Rangers FC U14 Blue Sox
Grassroots Coach of the Year for Adults - John Jones - Eaton Socon Pan-Disability
Grassroots Club of the Year - Ramsey Colts Football Development
Grassroots League of the Year - Peterborough & District Football League
Grassroots Volunteer of the Year - Abbie Mills - Sawtry Colts FC
Grassroots Rising Star of the Year - Ethan Russel - Kimbolton Town Colts FC
Grassroots Grounds Team of the Year - Ramsey Colts Football Development
Grassroots Project of the Year - Jade Cox - Sawtry Colts FC
Grassroots Official of the Year - Richard Hart
The Spirit of Grassroots Football Award - Andrew Gillespie - Brampton Spartans FC
All winners will be invited to an Awards event early in the 2022-23 Football season, details of which will be announced in due course.
